SICPA’s mission in Asia
Since 2013, when it opened its first regional headquarters in Singapore, SICPA has significantly developed its activities in the Asia Pacific area. Confirming SICPA’s expansion to Asia, a new regional center opened in Malaysia in April 2016.
SIPCA’s core line of business in Asia is focused around fighting illicit trade, in particular for two types of products: alcohol and cigarettes. Tracking those products’ integrity along the supply chain and identifying illegal counterfeits prevents tremendous revenue loss for governments.
In Malaysia, SICPA has been working for years with its counterpart Lembah Sari Sdn Bhd to assist the Royal Malaysian Customs in its war against imported illegal products. Similarly, SICPA’s star product in Asia, showcased in Singapore Demo Center is SICPATRACE – a platform specially designed to protect a wide range of licit products all along the supply chain.
